I almost always wake up before 7:00, but today I slept until 8:10. I think it's because I was having very strange dreams, including a very weird dream within a dream. In the dream, it was a Sunday. A lot of weird stuff had been going on all morning and I figured it was time to finally call my man and hang out with him for a chill evening. But then I remembered that we'd broken up about a week earlier, I somehow dated [livejournal.com profile] cecilgene for about a week, and then had a whirlwind courtship with [livejournal.com profile] seattlewolf  all day Saturday and was suddenly "with" him. I missed Garrett, though, and the idea that I'd even hooked up with Freddy was so foreign to me. I had no idea what to say to him or what to suggest we should do that evening.

That's when I realized that whole thing was a dream. I didn't realize I was still dreaming, I realized that the whole Curtis/Freddy week never actually happened, I'd dreamed it. I was so relieved.

I was still in the middle of this weird reality show and Garrett's bed had water pillows and I broke one, but at least I dreamed that I woke up. And then I eventually woke up.

I wonder if I slept late because it takes longer to have nested dreams like that.

My mind comes up with the craziest shit when I'm dreaming, too. My iPod had a transparent clickwheel that had 16 different sections to control all these different animation, entertainment, and gaming modes on it.  And I was in a city park that had trained lions you could walk. And the whole place felt like Arkansas. Or something.

Did you at least get to do sexy times with Freddy?

Nah. I just knew I was supposed to call him and then I realized the whole thing never happened.
