I really hate Thomas Kinkade but his painting of Las Vegas is hilarious and I want one. 




Someone please steal one for me. I imagine the life of an art thief is pretty interesting, you should totally find out for me.

Why do all my family members over the age of 50 (save for my aunt and uncle, who only have Grandpa's art hanging) have a Thomas Kincaid somewhere in their home? It's creepy. And crappy.

Kinkade is probably the best living artist to capture the nature of Las Vegas, as his purview is entirely about art as commodity, without any trace of intentional irony.
