TJ's shopping update

badrobot68 and I climbed up to Trader Joe's this evening. I was mostly interested in cheap wine and mixing things up a bit. My shopping routine has gotten a bit stale. I was hoping to find things I didn't actually end up seeing there, and found some things I wasn't actually looking for. I'll definitely go back, maybe alternating weeks between QFC and there. From what I've tried since I got back home, I can report:

- The wine I got is nice. I may have to break up with my boyfriend Carlo because of it.
- Their wasabi peas are wasabier than I expected. Still very good, but pack quite a punch.
- The only reason to eat their fakey corn dogs is that they're better for you than regular ones. They lose big time in the taste contest.
- The light muenster tastes nothing like muenster and shouldn't be allowed to be called muenster. And I have "about 11" more pieces to eat. Dammit.

I have not tried any of my organic snack foods yet but I am about to brew some of the tea.
I figure we hiked about 2.5 or 3 miles, round trip, which is reason enough to go there every couple of weeks.
