Dance clubs are well lit and people can hear each other speaking at normal volumes anywhere in the club. There is also always a big line to get in and the girls go right through security because they're hot and the guys are kept waiting outside because they're losers.

People with jobs that pay almost nothing live in huge loft apartments that in real life would cost about half their yearly salary per month.

The parents are dead and the older sibling takes care of the younger sibling and the younger sibling is such a handful.

There's a shortcut but it's not on the map.
