This is the express lane, originally uploaded by christopher575.

She is about 30 items over the 15-item limit.

EDIT: She also paid with a check and we had to wait five minutes while the cashier went to the front of the store to find a coupon for her.

Should be made to eat the entire bag of Tidy Cats. Without any beverage to wash it down.

Once I was grocery shopping while really tired and hadn't noticed the cardboard "express" sign just like a whole bunch of other signs hanging from the ceiling. The checkout guy, who happened to be the manager, was all," this is the express lane" and when I said, "oh I'm sorry, I didn't see it," and started to get out of the line, he goes, "No, it's ok, " then started checking my stuff anyway and snarking about how I should have asked everyone else's permission. Nobody was actually behind me until after he started checking my stuff.

Know what I hate? When somebody says "no, it's ok," but it's not.

It wasn't the first or the last time that guy was a dick. He also had this habit of throwing your fruit around and dropping it into the bags. I don't shop there any more.

I think I would have lost it the moment she whipped out the checkbook.
