Please promise me that you won't continue using a stroller when your kid is in grade school. That's fucked up.

my kid completely stopped using a stroller by the time she started going to preschool! (probably even earlier) srsly, your kid starts going to school, s/he can fucking walk.

as a parent who has a child who has massive meltdowns at the flip of a coin, I would NEVER put him in a stroller. Jack has been OUT of a stroller since he was 2, and after that, until he was about 3.5, we only used it when we were in the airport.

People who claim to "keep their child a child" by putting them in strollers/grocery carts/etc just totally disgust me.

Dont EVEN get me started on pacifiers!

I've seen it before and it's not that shocking. It seems like something that should be for developing countries because of the nutritional benefits but IDK, it's a parent's choice. Either way, I doubt stroller kid is being breastfed still, the mom seems too selfish.

I'd somehow like to learn more about the mind of that woman. How does she reconcile this?

Maybe she thinks he walks too slow or gets distracted too easily on foot.

Still stupid.

Way to make sure he never walks fast enough or learns to focus!

That is just disgusting. That is where, if I'm with another, I openly point and loud-enough-to-hear say, "OMG - that kid is STILL in a stroller!" with an appropriate look of horror and disgust on my face. If I'm not with another I will just openly look with horror so I'm not one of those crazy people who just talks openly to no one and to everyone.

When a kid is having a meltdown in a store, as I walk by I say, "psssh... look at the cry baby". Shuts them right up. Of course I get a look of shock and outrage from the parent that I would say such a thing to their precious spawn. But, hell, it works. Public shaming at it's best.

You can't just expect them to walk around ALL DAY. When will start producing Segways for kids?
