I would like people to stop putting a mic under her face and giving her antics attention so she could fade away into a forgotten world of excessive exercise and plastic surgery.

Unfortunately, she's promoting her book, which means her agents (and herself) has paid for interviews and airtime. It doesn't help that people love watching train wrecks.
