Walk, walk, walk, and walk

I think the easiest way to get some physical activity into your daily routine is to find a way to do it without taking any time out of your daily routine. To accomplish this in my own life, I decided to start walking to work instead of taking the bus, and walking during my lunch break instead of sitting at my desk. Suddenly that's an hour of walking with only about 15 minutes added to the time it takes me to get to work. In that hour today, I walked 3.2 miles.
As long as my lower back doesn't act out because of this, it should be great. Either way, I'm resuming physical therapy soon, but it'd be nice if I can walk without exacerbating my stupid bulging disc.
(Hey,
cattycritic, I found the song that the subject line refers to.)
