I emailed David Schmader on Sunday morning hoping he'd mention iPad Guy in his Last Days column. Instead, he published nearly the whole email on SLOG.

When I got my first pager, I did not take it on the dance floor, though I would have been able to type words into it and now I am kind of second guessing my awesome factor.

I totally forgot to mention to you the first time you posted about this, that we saw that guy at Dim Sum a couple weekends ago. Before the iPad came out, we were waiting in a very cramped lobby of Jade Garden. this guy was standing in the center, not with anyone, pulling up background pictures on the iPad and then swirling them around and making sure everyone could see.

When you first posted, I thought there was no possible way it was the same guy, since the guy I saw was older and pretty conservative looking, not likely to go to the Noc. Now I am sure it was him.

I went up to him after he put a new lyric on his Ipad and at that moment, that lyric came across the speakers. He was timing it and told me as much.

Then winked at me later. *shudder*
