This guy has jaywalked at six or so lights, but I still catch up every time.
Just wait your turn and soak up the city for a better life.

It's not OCD to not want to get stopped by the cops or get hit by a car. It's just smart. And it's not like it helps you get anywhere any faster so it's stupid to do it anyway. Even if you managed to get somewhere 30 seconds faster, what exactly are you going to accomplish in that time?

I hate people that pull this shit. As if they're saying "Oh my time is so much more important than yours, I can violate the law."

The only ones worse are the ones who walk down the street, then cross in the middle of the block. They go out of their way to jaywalk.

it's funny how west coast cities take jaywalking so seriously, and on east coast cities it's the norm. i never not jaywalk, along with everyone else. nyc streets look like a traffic intersection in mumbai most times. boston is possibly worse.

i think the illusion that i'm getting somewhere faster is just as important as actually getting there faster. when i get down to a subway platform and JUST miss my train i'm pissed off for a good amount of time, even though the next train is just a few minutes away.

i think 90% of people drive in the west coast and most pedestrians really don't know how to be pedestrians, so really, it SHOULD be taken srsly. i come from the third world and it's every man for himself so i know how to respect cars.
