It's a very personal spot for kitties to be rubbed. Humans often mistake the way cats show their tummy as a sign of trust for wanting to be petted there.

If he likes to be rubbed there, he is very very trusting of you. :)

Ella loves it but I've had other cats who would flip out if you even tried to touch them there. Maybe some cats are ticklish?
