Date: 2010-09-01 02:33 am (UTC)I'd like to make fancy dinners like that, but this is what Jim's (unspoken) reaction would be to the lovely dinner you're having:
1) I don't like meat on the bone. It's gross. And if I have to cut it with a knife, it's too complicated. I prefer my meat boneless, and either bite-size or cuttable-with-a-fork, like meatloaf.
2) I don't like vegetables except for corn and potatoes. I'll eat a few forks full of peas, but only because it makes you happy. Not touching the mushrooms. Gross.
3) Bread and butter! OM NOM NOM
4) Garlic? Is this a side dish? Whatever, don't want it.
In other words, he wouldn't verbally complain, but he would eat a few bites and then console himself with dessert.

What recipe did Garrett use for the mushrooms? I need to find a good recipe for stuffed mushrooms...people assume that I am going to serve them mushrooms, and I hardly ever do.
