I was spoiled by New Saigon Deli. Their sammiches are the cheapest, best, and most quickly prepared. Haven't had one here yet, so the anticipation is intense.

I've been a big fan of banh mi for a long time. For about a year when I was working a swing shift, I went to Little Saigon (the vietnamese neighborhood) and had lunch at a vietnamese restaurant, and got banh mi to take to work for dinner. This was every day, five days a week, and I usually had more vietnamese on the weekend. Search my lj for entries tagged "vietnamese food" to get a glimpse of my obsession.
