I tried to be a zombie last night for Frankenboot, but everyone said I was more John Wayne Gacy than undead. You be the judge. I don't know how anyone can stand to wear makeup on a regular basis, it's a nasty affair. But last night was a blast. I was on my way to dinner when I ran into Kyle, which was a treat. Before he was a suburban housewife, he lived a few blocks away, and we got together a lot more than we do these days. Just bumping into him on the street is almost unheard of now.  After a fun dinner with him I finally met [info]jodfoster over at [info]badrobot68 's place, and in spite of the greasy mess, it was a helluva good time. I'd forgotten that [info]patosa was supposed to come, but also didn't want to be that "I'm here and drunk and calling and trying to get you to show up" person and was really happy when she showed up without my having called. I've seen a lot of her this weekend, and we've watched a lot of Voyager, and I'm not afraid to admit it. But I guess the post about the dishes gave me away.

I also had an excellent time at [livejournal.com profile] moroccomole 's presentation and look forward to reading his book, and hopefully one day I'll watch one of the movies he says I must see and suddenly understand the cryptic message he wrote in my copy.

I was supposed to buy a wig and fake gash today so I can dress as Eddie from Rocky Horror next weekend, but never got around to it. Hopefully I can get them this Saturday before they replace all the Halloween stuff down and put up the Christmas displays.

Oh, and I happened upon a shirt today that is totally perfect for [livejournal.com profile] jodfoster . Thppppttttptpttt!

What's with the line breaks around my links to other users? I have noticed it on mine and a couple of other people's journals, but not everyones. So annoying.
