One recurring theme in my dreams is that my hair has gotten really long and I need to shave it again, but spend a lot of time thinking I should wear it long for a bit. This morning I was at a house with a lot of people wondering if I should just tie the top back to keep it out of my face, or if I should take the extra time before leaving to get rid of it all. I came out of the bathroom to talk to all the people that were there, and told them I was going back to my place since I wanted to shave my head and all my stuff was at home. I lived next door, so it wasn't a big deal. So I left, looking for the house I grew up in, which I thought was next door. All the houses on the street were extensively remodeled, which wasn't a surprise because I moved away from that street in 1979.

I couldn't figure out which house was mine, so I ended up at a garage sale at the house at the dead end of the street. It was full of amazing art deco stuff, and I was really more interested in looking at it than finding my house. Then I woke up.

People in Seattle wear way too many layers. I once saw a guy with a do-rag, bandana, hat, and hoodie. Four layers, just on his head.

I have an interesting family.

Once, when my aunt lost a tooth, she used Super Glue to put it back in. She didn't glue it back into the gums, but rather to the two teeth next to it. It was gross.

I told [profile] notlostonmeabout it this morning and she said, "Oh my god, you have to post that." So I did. You can thank her for the nightmares.
