Another short week due to Presidents Day, which is fine because I'm closing in on the end of my t-shirt collection. After that I'll also post the ones that I don't plan to wear to work, that way the photoset will be the complete collection. I guess from then on I should post new ones as they come? Or save up new ones until I have four and do a week? We'll see.

Speaking of Presidents Day, it's outrageously dumb. Why do we have a day off for the concept of our presidents when voting for them isn't a day off and that fact is often used to disenfranchise voters? I'm grateful to be in Washington, where we vote by mail.

There's plenty to say about each shirt this week, so I may as well skip the grid.

This one's the ultimate grab bag shirt. I've ordered plenty of grab bags from t-shirt sites before, but at least with those, all the shirts were from among the ones they'd previously sold. This one came from a ShiftyThrifting t-shirt junk box. They have a several themed junk boxes for sale, and it's fun to see what they decide to include. It's like going to the thrift store and grabbing stuff without looking. They're really fun to follow on Instagram or tumblr, I recommend it highly.

Oh hey speaking of tumblr, I just signed up for their ad-free version yesterday. Not because I'm annoyed by the ads, but because I want the site to continue to stay around. It's $5 a month or $40 a year so I went ahead and did the year. I really hope a lot of the people who still use the site will, too.

By now you probably know that I have panel 2 from Dinosaur Comics tattooed on my shin. This is a mirrored part of panel 4, and is comically cut off in the actual comic.

Garrett got me this one, which was part of one of my better July 4th outfits. He also gave me another one with two cats in space suits screaming as Earth is hit by a meteor. You can find tons of weird animal designs on these shirts, that have kind of a modified heather color pattern to the fabric. It's hard to explain, sort of a subtle bleach wash?

Here's that July 4th outfit, and it shows a much fuller view of the shirt. Most of the shits fit in the square format, it's a bit of a shame to cut it off like I did above. but not enough that I want to show the empty space on the sides.

Happy 4th, y'all!

I don't think I've mentioned my nightly TV show in a while. I finished The 100 back in December, and it was one of the best shows ever. I don't understand why I never hear about it. After that, I made quick work of the final season of the new version of Lost in Space, then moved on to Sliders. Right now I'm taking a little break from that to watch Models Inc., the spinoff from Melrose Place. The other Melrose Place podcast I listen to, Melrose Place Cast decided they'd cover it. Sort of. One of them will watch and talk about it, while the other watched the premier and will listen along as he recaps? I wish I would have thought to offer to properly podcast about it with them. But I said I'm available to be a guest, so I'm watching as much as I can because I know they record a few weeks ahead.

Sliders is a fun show, but I definitely liked the first couple of seasons better when they filmed in Vancouver before moving the production to Los Angeles. Vancouver is one of my favorite cities and I love seeing it in everything, even if I've only seen it play Vancouver once.
