By request: the tattoo tour! (Tattour?)
May. 6th, 2022 09:45 amA couple of people requested a tour of my tattoos once my thumbs were ready for photos. I can't say my right thumb really is, but I'm enjoying a PTO day and am tired of waiting! So here are all of my tattoos. I can list them in order by memory only to a certain point, but I guess with the help of the dates of the photos, I don't need to remember.
I also created a tumblr to be a permanent tattoo tour spot. The user name for it is 575ink but I won't populate for a bit. Each of the photos here will be a post there. That way, when I get something new, I can do a post here with just that, then link to the tumblr for the full list. I realize I could just tag stuff here or my main tumblr, but I figured there would be people who would want to see the tattoos, who I wouldn't feel like sharing my main blogs with. Anyway!

This is my first tattoo, which was a 30th birthday present from my friend Nancy. She got a symbol on her back that day, I think it was omega? Anyway, we had joked that I should get the kanji characters for "mother" and then when people asked what it meant, I could say, "your mom!" Basically "your mom" jokes were about 20% of all humor back in 2004. A friend who's a Japanese/English interpreter printed this for me from Microsoft Word, and Eric Eye did the tattoo.
