Previously I was doing my weekly WinCo run for the carrots, celery, tomatoes, and pickles I eat with breakfast and lunch on Wednesdays before class. I'd like to try doing strength training three times a week on M/W/F now, and that made the timeline a little tighter than I like. It's just not fun to rush and still only have a few minutes to chat in the pool before class. But I realized on days I teach, that's all I'm doing*, so I may as well make Tuesday the WinCo day.

Marysville has a WinCo, too. And it seems so far away, but I just checked everything on the map and it's a few miles less to go to that WinCo and then to their Y than it is go to our WinCo first. About 13 miles total versus 17. And because I'm heading opposite traffic, I can take the freeway up to WinCo. I'm glad I'm a person who actually checks rather than just going by how it seems when I think about it.

I like the amount of activity I'm doing but I hate that there are no casual mornings any more. Getting up and immediately making breakfast isn't great. It's so much nicer to wait a while but the time just isn't there. So this morning I got out of bed at 3:45 after lounging around for a while, turning off my 4am backup alarm in the process. Then I went straight to the kitchen for the most involved Tuna Tuesday** in a while.

Early morning tuna melt

This is the end piece of a loaf of Dave's Killer 21-grain bread, toasted, with jalapeƱo tuna mixed with Kewpie mayo, topped with provolone cheese and broiled. WinCo's provolone is really good! And cheap. I love WinCo.

I keep an insulated bag in the van so I can shop before the gym. I don't always buy anything that needs it. Sometimes I buy an extra frozen thing to help keep non-frozen things cold.

Honestly, the most difficult part is changing WinCo locations. Not only is Marysville's set up mostly like a mirror image of Everett's, but the frozen food section is completely different. And bigger? It's hard to say, I'm always in a huge hurry when I go.

*I might squeeze in a chair yoga class Thursday. During my first month, I can get paid to try other classes up to four times so I'm familiar with them, and chair yoga is very popular among the water fitness crowd. Plus the instructor in Everett is a friend who was very excited to learn I'm a new instructor. There's also the Forever Fit class that I'll try to get to, maybe next week?

**Have I talked about Tuna Tuesday? For a while I was eating tuna on toast for breakfast a lot and Lisa reminded me about mercury poisoning. I chose Tuesday for a weekly tuna breakfast because it's easy to remember Tuna Tuesday. And kinda fun.
