My new gal pal
Aug. 3rd, 2024 10:05 amSamantha is a tattoo artist who was doing a month-long guest stint at Lion's Paw and they'd been hyping her up on Instagram. I finally decided to check out her "wanna-do" Instagram story and found something that was so perfect for me, I messaged immediately asking for an appointment.
As is often the case, I have no idea if the manicure hands meme has a name, but I've seen those hands everywhere for a long time. I'm so amazed she thought to put them on a duck, it's absolutely perfect because a lot of the drawings you see with the hands have that "duck lips" type smile. It was during this that I realized I may as well hang around a little longer and asked her to do the cheese tattoo.
She's joining Lion's Paw full time soon and is such a great addition to the team! Speaking of which, I always used to be able to get at least one tattoo from everyone who worked there, but as the shop expanded, I haven't been able to keep up. Since I've been so busy, I'm almost caught up now, with only two more artists to get something from. But for now, I'm on a break. I have more to show in the coming weeks, but as far as sessions go, I'm done for now. Starting this chest piece last night was a painful experience, which made it easy to finally stop for a while.
Jimmy likes to do grim reapers and space versions of them. When he asked a while back if I wanted one, I said yes, as long as he can be a Klingon. I knew a bat'leth would look so cool in place of a scythe. Since this is just the outline, I really hope I can get back in the pool a week from Monday. But no matter what, it'll be soon! The teacher needs to be a student again.
It's definitely weird not having chest hair. I've always had it ever since it grew in originally.
