Recognition and recognition
Sep. 11th, 2024 10:45 amYesterday I was chatting at the Y with people working at the front desk and a very well-known employee/instructor walked by and said I was quickly becoming the most popular water fitness instructor based on all the comments coming in.
This morning a stranger at the grocery store recognized me and said my classes look fun and that she wishes she could participate, but has to get to work. She does laps instead. Access for people who have to get to work is exactly why I'm always saying there should be some earlier classes, it was nice to have a complete stranger validate that.
Unfortunately because I was so flattered I forgot to mention that my Monday class is from 7:30-8:15. If the location isn't too far away, maybe that one would work for her. I hope I spot her soon so I can tell her about it.
