Mr and Mrs T bloody mary mix, vodka, ice, and the snacky veggies of your choice. Pickled carrots, green beans, and asparagus are nice, as are the ones pictured here.
There's a bar here that serves them with huge chunks of buffalo jerky instead of veggies, that's also tasty.
So simple! Love it. I am going to buy the ingredients the next time I'm at a grocery store, yes I am. And those little onions.
This reminds me of the time I went to the Elk's Lodge with my dad for some random breakfast, in my tiny home town, back in January. They had all the fixins for a bloody mary, but you had to go to the bar to buy the vodka.
For like $3, you got what they called a double vodka ... but which would be a quadruple vodka in any city bar. It was hilarious. I GOT SO DRUNK at 9am. My dad was laughing his ass off.
Elk's lodges in tiny towns are AMAZING. I love going with my dad when I visit. They do charity dinners and stuff all the time. Cheap booze and good food for the win!
Full of old men, but that's ok -- they love when young ladies come in. They always buy me drinks! And flirt.
