It feels great to finally figure it out

christopher575For weeks now, I've been getting the "Doo Wop (That Thing)" by Lauryn Hill stuck in my head. Like, seriously, at least five times a day. Often more. I thought I'd never figure out why it was happening and would just have to live with it until it went away. Well! I finally figured it out this morning by catching myself do it, and I feel stupid for not figuring it out before.
It's because of the way people say "That thing..." all the time now. If you aren't familiar with it, you probably don't follow me, or Alan, or AJ, or OPRAHHATPARTY on Twitter.
That thing, where you keep sticking a song in your head....
What I want to know is if it came from Stefon originally.
