Current food experiment, originally uploaded by christopher575.

I keep spring roll wrappers around, but rarely take the time to make them, so I was wondering how it'd be to wrap other stuff. This is ham, cheddar, and iceberg lettuce in some, along with honey mustard and sri racha mayo for dipping. Turned out pretty good!

Next I'd like to try a hot dog or sausage with condiments in one. Ha.

Nice. I did that in college. We made bologna and cheese egg rolls and dipped them in spicy mustard.

Brilliant! I often run out of bread and want a sandwich.

YES.

AND THEN EAT IT.

AND THEN POST ABOUT IT.

that's actually a really good idea for a sandwich substitute for a packed lunch at work, given how gross regular bread can get sitting in the lunch bag all morning.

Yeah, I cut them open for dipping purposes, but for packing them, they stay nice and sealed.

I also thought it might be pretty good to make a chopped salad and roll it up into those for eating it without utensils or dishes.
