What did you win?

I watched a few of the Chopped episodes tonight, and was particularly miffed at Zakarian saying, "This fish is more like an appetizer portion than an entree," and the chef had to tell him, "Well, after we cleaned it, this was how much was left when we divided by four." AND ALL OF THE CHEFS' PORTIONS OF FISH ON THE PLATE WERE THE SAME SIZE AS HIS, ANYWAY.

Also, the "You have to learn humility, and how to take criticism."
"NO I DON'T. I KNOW HOW TO COOK, AND MY PLATE WAS GOOD, AND BETTER THAN THE OTHER TWO."

I fell asleep before the entree round of Champions was complete, so I have to catch that again.

And, Alan Harding on one of the reruns tonight used to have his own show on TLC or Discovery, called Cookin' In Brooklyn, before he opened his food truck.

Wow. Harding does seem to instill some strong reactions in people. I remember wanting to visit his place Schnack when the show was current, and it was still open, but who knows how many restaurants ago that was for him, since he's owned 6 or 7 before opening a food truck, and competing on Chopped.
