I have loved this song since forever and I've probably posted it I don't know how many times in my whole time on lj and HDU for not knowing/remembering that.
I worked at a radio station where this was a staple and actually got tired of it. But I will admit that I was super thankful to work where the format included music like this!
Tommy Shrewsberry's sister, Jackie, used to sing this song - one day she brought the record to me so I could hear it, and I became mildly obsessed with it, because of her love of it. I had it on a tape in my car, and would annoy passengers with it.
Hey I was thinking about you yesterday because we were watching Nick Swardson's Pretend Time. You don't look like him or anything, but the way he talks really reminds me of you.
