Chore fiasco

I guess everyone else in my building also uses LJ and decided to do chores when it wasn't available tonight. I took my laundry downstairs but all four machines were taken, and one even had someone's wet laundry on top of it. I went down again later with my trash for the compactor, and got a machine. When it was time to put everything in the dryer, I went to grab my recycling bags. One was under the sink in a plastic tub, and when I pulled it out, water went everywhere. Turns out my drain has been leaking into the recycling bag, so I only brought down one bag, figuring I should let the other one dry out before putting the stuff in the bins.

When I got downstairs with my bag of recycling I found that only three of the four dryers were working, and two of them had loads of wet clothes waiting on or in front. I put my load of wet clothes on the third, and it had 43 minutes to go. That means I have to stay up another 35 minutes or so, go down there to dry my stuff, and then go back down about 50 minutes after that. I wish I wouldn't have even started it, because I'd like to go to bed right now.
