I hated door-to-door canvassing more than anything I've ever had to do for a job, and that includes wading through cow shit, cutting up dead animals, and cleaning up all kinds of animal shit on a daily basis. That job I did for several years, while I lasted 2 weeks working for NM PIRG. I even hated it more than 8 hours a day of data entry for new hospital patients (including calling them up and asking them personal questions).
