Such a lose-lose situation. If the person reacts the way this woman does, it's not terrible pleasant for either party. If on the other hand, the visited party buys into their load of crap, they're roped into a ridiculous system of myths and homophobia and patriarchy. It's sad, really. Nobody wins.
I once lied to Mormons who came to my door and told them I was interested but busy so they would give me their pamphlet. Boy did I have a good time later reading it - it was so weird.
