What's the appropriate way to eat these things? I'm sure there's no _wrong_ way, but any time I've sat down to a Vietnamese noodle plate, I've felt like an awkward American, daintily picking at the cilantro. >_>
This particular dish's noodles are formed into little cakes, they're easy to pick up with the chopsticks and eat on their own, but what you can't see off to the side is a stack of rice paper that I used for making my own spring rolls. Also there are big lettuce leaves there and you can wrap in those.
If noodles are long and free, you can just pick up and slurp.
