In the US, we always giggle a bit when we hear "six inches." What's the equivalent in centimeters? I'm not asking for a distance conversion, but rather for what's accepted to be "average" in metric countries. Please advise.

6 in = 15.24 centimeters

Would sound weird saying I'm 15.24 cm. We use inches here for that as well.

That, and I'd imagine...bust/waist/ass measurements...

Nothin' says curvy like 91.44-60.96-91.44.

They'd probably round down to 15 cm.

i vaguely remember 12cm from living in france in 1997, but i could be wrong. perhaps women made that up so they are more often pleasantly surprised instead of disappointed.

:)

I don't know; 10 cm?

I'm 188 cm.

What? No, my height is 188 cm. Geez.

(You know, if I wanted to be punny, I could point out that I *am* cm. Fortunately I'm rarely punny.)
