Netflix not only sold your address info, but your viewing history so data miners (like WalMart and Target) could more effectively pinpoint who you are and send offers.

It won't get rid of all of them but it will stop a lot of the crap. It seems that the credit reporting agencies like Equifax and TransUnion like to sell names as well.

Thanks! I declared bankruptcy back in 2005 or so and have gotten credit card offers almost every day since then.
