I never understood why there was a Goonies resurgence and not a Gremlins one. The Goonies movie is absolute crap. Gremlins, even with the unexplained plot hole ("Don't feed them after midnight"), is so so so much better.

I guess Furbys killed off any possible Gremlins nostalgia.
