I am able to embed in posts I make to my own journal (But even then I have to use LJ specific coding; I can't just copy/paste the YouTube code). I can't embed in any comments.
The "use old embed code" checkbox appears when I go to any video posted by LaxAllStars, but nowhere else (at least, nowhere else that I've been trying to find). This is getting stranger.
