Raw brussels sprout slaw with a poached egg, english muffin. Each half has half a wedge of garlic herb cheese wedge, one's got Vegemite and the other's got Sri Racha.

I've only had Marmite; have you had both Vegemite and Marmite? I'm told they're different enough to have very loyal followers from both counts. (Though I'm not sure it's not in part because it's what those people grew up with. I didn't try it until an adult.)

I've had both and I like both, but I prefer Vegemite. Which is sad, because Marmite's a lot easier to find around here. But I ordered some tubes back when the FDA halted Vegemite sales for a while and I don't have it that often, so I've still got a lot.

If I had to describe the difference, I'd say that they're very similar, but Marmite's got a bit of a barfy tinge to it. Not overly offensive by any means, but that's the only thing I can liken the taste difference to.
