That is not the way to New York, which is where I thought you were going to spend some time for some reason.
If you like gardens, and have the time, I recommend Longwood Gardens in Chadds Ford, PA - off of Route 1. You would get there by taking 322 exit off of 95 S and then turning right when you hit Route 1. It is a former DuPont estate.
Near there is the Brandywine Museum which is have Wyeth since they lived in Chadds Ford. They also have a display (might be just at Christmas) of natural ornaments made out of thistles, etc. Wonderful.
The is also the Brandywine Battlefield (big Revolutionary War area). West Chester (my old home town) is Bam Margara's original stomping grounds - his house is in Glen Mills, south. Ryan whats his name was killed in a car accident less than a mile from my old house, I knew exactly where is was when it showed up on the news.
I am just running your vacation and I was just there in October. But I was sick then and didn't want to do much of anything but sleep.
