I actually decided this morning, on the way to work, that if for some reason I am ever on a red carpet in front of a bunch of cameras at a public event, I am totally going to pull a pratfall in a lovely evening gown, just for you. And you know I can and will do it.

My theory is that he realized he was too late to get across, so he turned back, and when he hit the car he panicked and went anyway.

a friend of mine did almost the exact same thing in roller skates crossing a busy street. she hit he car!
