Hey, this is unrelated, but I told you about this before. My friend spent a lot of time waiting for leaves to fall so he could photograph them, and there are some real gems in this set IMO.
He waited for them to fall. He was very principled about it, haha. That slideshow is from two years of work, in Berlin, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, and Bishop, CA. Did you catch the self portrait? :)
Totally. I have an early self portrait of his (I've known him since high school) hanging on my wall, in which he nestled deep into the iceplant on the bluff over a California beach, and every time I look at it I think of the bugs that must have been crawling on him.
