I thought it was perhaps a little unfair of me the other night when we saw Christine Lahti on Ally McBeal and I called her a C-List Allison Janney, so I went to have a look at her filmography. I noticed as I typed her name in the Chrome search bar that it actually autocompletes "Christine Lahti feet" above "Christine Lahti" and wondered if there was some big story about Christine Lahti's feet that I should have heard by now.

No, no there's not. But today I learned that there's wikiFeet, the "collaborative celebrity feet website," and another tiny piece of my soul broke off.

I first saw her in a little film called Housekeeping, then as River Phoenix's mom in Running on Empty. She's amazing and she should have become a much bigger star.

Yeah, I used to dig her during my strong women phase when I was kind of into Stockard Channing and watched Murphy Brown religiously.
I agree, where is she now, right?

I know she was on some show for years and years...but I never watched it.

it was Chicago Hope, the competition to ER as I recall. I watched it a bit, but I was never into those either. I just remembered being pleased that there were female leads on a medical show.
