Phase two of G's dental implant was today, so I'm working from home. He's
snoozing away on the couch, and I'm taking a break in bed from my exercise
ball chair. It can be pretty brutal after a while. Being able to work from
bed with Buffy on is pretty great.

Hope G feels better soon. My naturo uses an exercise ball as a desk chair too. Is there a health benefit or something?

It's pretty easy to consistently sit up straight in it, which wears my lower back out because I have a bulging disc. I'm hoping it'll help it with continued use.

One of the benefits was that it was cheap. :)

Aha! Thank you. My L4 & L5 are 87% degenerated. My doc wants me to get titanium disc replacements, but I'm scared. Take care of your disc bb. Are your docs wanting to do surgery to pop your disc back in? Ugh, orthopods always want to cut.

Actually I asked about surgery and he was all, "blah blah blah, core strength exercises".

I will say, when my back went out, my physical therapy exercises really did help a lot. Problem is, I was supposed to do two sets a day for a total of 90 minutes. I did half and it was still pretty great. Probably after we move and I start working from home, I'll resume it. I'd rather just have a laser go in and blast it, though. :)
