Today's awesome walk, 5.08 miles in 1:28, a photo by christopher575 on Flickr.

Twice around the lake because it's pretty small. A guy on a skateboard
high-fived me as he went by. I tweeted about that and was glad I did
because I was able to see how long it took to do a lap around the lake by
checking when I had sent it when I got to that spot again.

I always want to high five people that are either running/walking for exercise because a) high fives are awesome and 2) I need to practice my high five technique. I never do because I don't want to be a weirdo.

I definitely never would have initiated it, but his hand was up as he came at me and I thought, yeah, let's do this.

That's awesome. What really makes this better is the thought of "Yeah, let's do this". I don't know why, but that cracks me up in the best possible way.
