Actually this time it was Lassard who went to a bar. It wasn't as dark as the Blue Oyster, but the first extra looked like one of their patrons. Alas, it was just a biker bar in what used to be his friendly neighborhood.
What's really interesting to me about all of these movies is that they just refer to where they are as "the city" and I assumed it was NYC the whole time growing up. This was long before they would call it the American counterpart while filming in Canada. Which I guess I'm overly sensitive of having seen Vancouver called Seattle so much, even though they're really not that similar.
I didn't pay that much attention when I was watching them on HBO in the 80's. I just assumed that they were taking place somewhere in California, I guess.
