cecilgene took this picture six years ago at the top of the Space Needle.

We had a lovely Easter lunch and played some Connect Four and Trouble. Even after a visit with Grandma and some errands, we were still too full to eat our bunny cake. We hacked off a couple of parts to bring home instead.

This pic of Trouble on a mosaic really makes me want to make ancient-looking versions of modern games. Like, what would Hungry Hungry Hippos look like in ancient Egypt? Awesome, right? HIppos all look like the Egyptian god Taweret, with an Egyptian headdress and gold paint? Coming out of the Nile? With hieroglyphs all over?

I think it'd be a missed opportunity to make all four HHH's the same. One could be a sphynx! Another, a giant cat!

oh, good point. But then it couldn't be called ...Hippos. Maybe each hippo could have a different rider? Hungry, Hungry Egyptian Deities doesn't really have the same ring to it. What would it be called?
