Sunday nights are such a weird time. It's like every week is a year of my life and on Sunday as I grow drowsy I look back and wonder where it all went. The difference now is that things are finally going really well for me, so instead of worrying about just getting by, I worry about maintaining. Failure has been such a way of life for me, that success is an amazing challenge.

I'm extremely grateful for everything I've got, and hope that everyone knows how lucky I feel right now. My heart's been broken several times recently, but it still works very well.

I don't expect any of this to make sense or mean anything. I'm feeling too many things all at once to be able to really describe what it's like.

Haha. I look at Sunday nights the same way too. I think it's because we work in offices, and so the next day we've got to get up early and enter the grind of the workplace for another 5 days. You get 2 nights of freedom, and then you sit there the night before going back and you can't help but reflect.

I found I got a lot happier when I stopped thinking of life in terms of failures and disappointments and started thinking about it in terms of progress and improving the things I could. It appears you've turned that direction as well and it's helped matters.

Exactly. Isn't it amazing that it only takes something like that to change everything?

I know exactly what you mean.
All of a sudden, I have this incredible life that I can hardly manage all at once because there's just SO much of it, and it's very new.

Plus, I love you and I adore spending all day with you, cozied into our little space and talking.

I know these feelings very well.
The changes in my life these past 18 months have been a whole world of difference.
I know you did not know me before that, but trust me...I feel like a while new person now and I almost do not trust it when things go well because I think it's all going to go back to crap soon.

On an unrelated note, we still need to dine together sometime soon. :-) Weren't we thinking (this last) Thursday? ... or was I crazy?

Also, you said to remind you about that CD player, I think. :-)

I hope you had a good 'vacation' across the sound this weekend.

I'll have to find the CD player first. Everything is still packed up. We'll see what we can figure out.
