Today I learned a hard lesson, and it's that I have to take the air quality issue seriously. I've been back from my walk for well over eight hours and still feel terrible. Thankfully a friend posted about a good app that I'll use from now on. It's dark in the morning now so I was well into the walk before it was light out and I noticed I probably shouldn't be out at all.
It may be the only walk ever where I didn't take any pictures. Everything looked so sad, there was no point. I took one when I got to the car, though, because there was ash all over it. I saw a couple of bits earlier and thought I'd imagined it.

I didn't even see the sun until I was driving. There was nobody around at the marina so I stopped the car to take this.

Not a whole lot to see in the time lapse, so it's just on YouTube. I do like the bird on the dock.
I had a pretty cool seal encounter, at least.
