A few times every day I have to stop what I'm doing, look around, and try to take it all in.  It's just hard to absorb the fact that I'm in India. If you told me six months ago that I would be, I'd have laughed.

Some moments can be really strange. Coming home from work last night, there was so much dust being kicked up by the cars on the road that visibility was severely impacted. Sometimes it feels like a war zone here. But then I realize I'm in the back seat of a company car being driven by a guy whose job it is to take me wherever I want to go, and at that moment it was home to drink beer and play on the Internet.

we should document our levels of sobriety when we're playing scrabble, just for our own amusement. like in the chat log write the word you used and what you were on at the time. ok i'll admit it i'm bored and drinking sparks at home!
