christopher575At long last, Friday the 13th is here. For those who don't know, most tattoo shops do Friday the 13th specials. Generally the artists will draw up special, themed sheets of flash and do as many as possible at a special low price that day. The crowds are big and the waits are long. I'm not one for big crowds and long waits, and I came up with my own design anyway, so I got it done on Tuesday. It's inspired by this song.
Specifically, the lines:
He's getting a tattoo
Yeah he's gettin' ink done
He asked for a 13
But they drew a 31
I've always really loved the logo from the first Friday the 13th movie and decided to base it off that.
I told Clinton to do whatever he wanted with the color, and love his choice.
You can see a little more fresh ink in the corner of the photo because we started another tattoo, which I won't officially unveil until January 29. But it's on flickr if you want to go have a look.
