christopher575I have been craving vietnamese food (and beef in general) since I got here. I just stumbled upon a feature about pho on some travel channel. This is like porn for me.
It is going to be a long time before I'll want pizza when I get back, because almost all I've had here other than Indian is pizza and chinese. Pizza, chinese. Chinese and then some pizza. Man, the pho on the screen looks so good. They're making it on the street and it looks so good.
Ok, it's over, and I feel a little dead inside. I need pho, bun, spring rolls, banh mi, and cafe sua da something fierce.

Date: 2007-11-03 09:08 pm (UTC)Whenever he was back in the states from an India trip, he'd call 2 or 3 of us up and would be like "WE ARE GOING TO OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE !!! NOW !!!".
He only casually enjoyed beef in his regular diet, but it was having to go without for so long that made him ravenous for it. I'm not sure this comment is helping your situation any :-/
