My parents got AOL when I was in HS. I remember seeing the internet and thinking, "This is kinda neat, but it's probably not gonna catch on."

LOL that is funny. my dad was pretty geeky and had some weird computer networking version that was out in like.. i think late 80s. i wish i could remember what it was called... the software was amazing. it was all about one day being able to communicate with other computers all over the place.


i remember having juno internet and wishing we had aol like some of my friends. :p dont worry, that only lasted for about 3 months of actually having aol, when i realized very quickly how horrible they were.

Oh yeah, once I finally realized that the world wide web, and not AOL, was the actual internet, shit blew up like the godfather and I did not look back.
