christopher575It's strange to think about how much life has changed since Mom died back in 2005. That was before I even had any sort of social media, in spite of having been on the internet for 11 years already. Dad passed away last night in a world that's completely different and so far removed from 17 years ago, but I'm proud to say he rolled with the punches and handled the changing world well, even if he didn't participate in every part of it.
I'm not in that second photo, that's my brother David. It's one of my favorite pictures, and I always joked that it captures what it was like to live on a blissful planet Earth before I came along and ruined it; the truth is that you can see how happy they were knowing there was still so much life to live and even create.
