2026QOTD March 6-10
Mar. 4th, 2026 05:05 amFull list of March questions here.
6. Have you ever seen a dinosaur skeleton?
Yes, and the question brought back a very specific memory of a room in the New Mexico Museum of Natural History (now known as the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science). As you made your way through the museum, you entered the room in an upper corner and came down a ramp which wrapped around a dinosaur skeleton. It wasn't as majestic as it sounds. The room was small and a drab shade of green.
7. Do you embrace technology or prefer things the way they used to be (or a bit of both)?
Both. Obviously I'm on the internet a lot and I think everyone who uses it inevitably reaches a point where it's how we like it and get sick of whatever comes next.
8. It’s International Women’s Day – can you name any famous female artists, musicians, scientists or authors?
Of course, but I think it's funnier to share this:
9. As it’s ‘Check Your Batteries Day’, when was the last time you checked your stock of batteries? Or, do you just buy them when you need them?
We have an unorganized cardboard box of batteries. If I go into it looking for a type that isn't there, I get more of that type. It works ok. I got Garrett a battery organizer for Christmas one year but he liked the case too much to use it for that. I have no idea what became of it.
10. It’s International Wig Day – have you ever worn a wig or a hairpiece?
Definitely more than once but here's the time I saw an ad for very cheap wigs and bought one to see how it compared to the model, who I'm not convinced is even wearing a wig.
